Urge Congress to Oppose Medicare Direct Access for Audiologists!
The AAO-HNS needs your help to educate lawmakers on the recently introduced “Medicare Audiologist Access and Services Act” (H.R. 1587/S.1731). If enacted, this misguided legislation would grant audiologists their long-sought unlimited direct access to Medicare patients without a physician referral by establishing audiologists as “practitioners” under the Medicare program.
